The Liffey rises in the Wicklow Mountains and reaches Dublin through Kildare. Its river corridor includes rural trout waters as well as the capital’s urban river.
The Slaney rises on the slopes of Lugnaquilla and flows through Baltinglass, Tullow and Bunclody. It reaches its estuary at Enniscorthy and continues towards Wexford Harbour.
